Westminster Choir College students perform 20th-century American Art Songs

Presented as part of Westminster's annual Art Song Festival, this concert will feature Westminster Choir College students, accompanied by J. J. Penna, performing early American Art Songs.  The program includes songs composed between 1917 and 1998 by some of America’s most renowned composers: Dominic Argento, Samuel Barber, William Bolcom, Elliott Carter, Tom Cipullo, Aaron Copland, Lee Hoiby, Charles Ives and Ned Rorem.

Pre-concert lecture by Assistant Professor Christian B. Carey 7:15 p.m.
