Undergraduate Requirements: (Organ Performance)
All of the following, of which one must be from memory:
- A work by J.S. Bach (e.g., prelude & fugue, trio sonata).
- A 19th- or 20th-century composition (e.g., Mendelssohn, Franck, Vierne).
- All major and minor scales (moderate tempo, four octaves).
- Accurate and fluent sight-reading of four-part hymns.
Graduate Requirements: (Organ Performance)
All of the following, of which one must be from memory:
- A major work by J.S. Bach
- A major work of the 19th- or 20th-century.
*Recorded auditions must be submitted in DVD or video format and must show pedals.
Organ Scholarship Competition Requirements:
- A work by J.S. Bach (e.g., a prelude & fugue, a movement from a trio sonata, a choral prelude from Orgelbuchlein).
- A 19th- or 20th-century composition (e.g., Mendelssohn, Franck, Vierne).
- Any three scales and arpeggios (four octaves).BB
- Accurate and fluent sight-reading of four-part hymns.
