Our area is covered with hot spots perfect for outdoor recreation, from canoeing down the Delaware River to hiking the Appalachian Trail; this state is where it’s at! The Outdoor Recreation Program provides an opportunity for students to explore natural areas in our region as well as experience an outdoor sport. Minimal experience is required for participation. We also provide equipment to be rented out incase our students are interested in going a trip of their own. Our trips come to the students at a minimal price thanks to the Student Activities Fund.
To sign up for any of the trips listed below, or have any questions answered regarding our Outdoor Adventure trips, contact the Recreation Programs office. E-mail us at recprograms@rider.edu, call our office at (609) 896-7770, or come visit us on the second floor of the Student Recreation Center. We will provide you with all the information needed to become part of these trips.
