For Graduate/CCS Students

If you are a P/T Graduate or P/T Continuing Studies student you are required to:

  • Submit official documentation of immunization twice against the Mumps, Measles, and Rubella (MMR) virus.*

 

If you are a F/T Graduate student you are required to:

  • Submit official documentation of immunization twice against the Mumps, Measles, and Rubella (MMR) virus.*
  • Submit proof of Hepatitis B if you are taking 12 credits or more.*
  • Read the Meningitis Vaccine Letter and download and complete the Vaccine Reporting form and return to: Rider University Student Health Services 2083 Lawrenceville Road Lawrenceville, New Jersey 08648.  You may also fax the form to the Health Center at 609-895-5682. 

 

If you will be living on campus, you must have the meningitis vaccine.

If you are a student who is receiving a certification and attending full-time:

  • you are exempt from the immunization requirement
  • you must show proof of insurance

*This law does not apply to student receiving a certification, as these students do not receive a degree.  Effective 9/2013, per N.J.S.A. 18A:61D-1, students age 31 and older are not required to show proof of immunizations.  Proof of meningitis immunization will continue to be mandatory for all students residing on campus.
