The Counseling Center's Outreach efforts seek to improve the emotional and interpersonal well-being of Westminster students through educational programming on campus, promoting community awareness of issues that relate to positive mental health.
Counseling Center staff make presentations to students in classrooms, residence halls, and other student organizations on topics such as:
- Stress management
- Relationship conflicts
- Grief and loss
- Body image
- Performance anxiety
- How to recognize depressive symptoms
- Suicide prevention
We are eager to meet the needs of students, and, upon request, will plan specific programs of interest to particular organizations or groups. Annual mental health screening events are also offered throughout the year.
Regular outreach events include:

- Pet Therapy
- Expressive Arts
- Wellness Fair
- Stress Management
