Service, Professional, and Special Interest Organizations

There are numerous other organizations at Rider University that use Greek letters in their names. While having many aspects of traditional fraternities and sororities, such as rituals, brotherhood and sisterhood and events, these organizatons also have an additional, specialized focus for the organization. Five of these organizations are advised through the Office of Greek Life.

Alpha Phi Omega - coed community service based fraternity - National Site
Founded in 1925, Alpha Phi Omega has been dedicated to developing students into civically engaged citizens, providing them with opportunities to develop leadership skills and build meaningful friendships while serving their campus, community, and nation. Membership is by initiation only and conducted in fall and spring each year.

Alpha Psi Omega- coed fine arts society - National Site
An honorary theatre fraternity that supports the main stage theatre seasons and produces its own shows in our studio theatre. Proceeds from these events often go to charity organizations.

Delta Sigma Pi - coed business fraternity - National Site
Chapter Site
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional, co-ed Fraternity organized to foster the study of business by furthering a higher standard of business ethics, and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community by research and practice. The Fraternity fosters this process by providing hands-on experience in the business world, organized workshops, networking sessions, mock interviews, public speaking aid, and any other aspect of business that each Brother may use to get ahead of his or her peers. Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia - mens music fraternity - National Site
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is a men's music fraternity. The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.

A fraternity for women that focuses on forming chapters of women college students and alumnae who have a sincere interest in music.
