Rider University has officially launched Rider Mobile, a free mobile campus app that brings university life to popular smartphones and mobile devices. Powered by Blackboard, the app offers mobile access to campus maps, directory, event calendars, news, sports schedules, Blackboard, Webmail and more.
Over the next several weeks, communication will be sent outlining future enhancements scheduled for this year.

Get instant access to all of your Blackboard Learn™ content on the go. Note: Available on iPhone, iTouch and Android Devices. Blackberry users, please download the Blackboard Mobile Learn App directly from Blackboard App World.
- Directory
Search the public directory for students, faculty, staff and administrators. Send an e-mail, place a call and save contact information right to your phone’s address book.
- Emergency Numbers and Campus Alerts
Access important numbers when you need them and keep updated on campus alerts.
- Events
Always know what's happening on or around Rider. Browse events, performances, exhibits and more.

Known Issues
Blackboard Mobile Learn
Issue: There is no "back" button on new browser windows that are opened within the Blackboard Mobile Learn module.
Solution: With respect to not being able to go "back" once you have a launched a web view, there is actually a phantom "back" button. If you press in the spot where there would be a back button, it will function.

Issue: No way to log out of Blackboard Mobile Learn if you enter into new windows.
Solution: To log out of Blackboard Mobile Learn currently, one must actually exit the app itself completely.
