The Proof Is In Our People
Why Tiffany Chose Rider
"I transferred to Rider after attending community college. I wanted a college where I could get to know my professors and have them know me — my strengths, my weaknesses, my story. I wanted to connect with the people around me. Rider’s size made it the perfect place for me."
Rider's Impact on Tiffany's Success
"Dr. Aaron Moore set me up with all my internships: At Sun National Bank Center, I worked cameras for hockey games. I worked at VH1 on Behind the Music. My third internship was at here 94.5 PST — where I’m now the producer of the Chris and the Crew Morning Show, which is pretty cool. They offered me the job two years after my internship, based on the job I had done! Dr. Shawn Kildea and Scott Alboum also were my mentors in Rider’s television studio, where I became a team leader working on production."
"It has been my dream forever to be a producer. Now, I’m putting together a show. I’m talking on the radio. I have a name. People know me," Tiffany said. "I go to events for the station. I have fans! It’s the most amazing job and I absolutely love it. I wouldn’t change it for the world."
In her senior year, Tiffany was part of the crew for the documentary, Children of Terror, produced by Dr. Shawn Kildea. The film is currently a finalist for "Best Picture" honors at the National Broadcasting Society’s 2013 competition. "I was so honored to be involved in this amazing project."
While studying at Rider, Tiffany worked as a waitress, was a reporter for the Rider Sports Report and was a Broncs cheerleader. “I practically lived on campus, even though I commuted!” she says.
