While the university provides public access computers, most students will choose to bring a personal computer to campus or use their own computer from home. If you are using your personal computer for your academic work at the university, it should meet or exceed the technical standards set by the Office of Information Technologies. Failure to meet at least the minimum standards, may affect your ability to access technology services that are required by the university faculty and administration for student use.
All Rider students, faculty, and staff are eligible to purchase computer equipment with educational discounts from the manufacturers on the right. You will be required to submit a copy of your Rider ID or letter of acceptance.
Please note: Rider University is not responsible for technical support on any machines purchased for home use. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to purchase a three year maintenance warranty from the manufacturer.
