The Chat tool in Canvas allows students and teachers to interact in real time. Chat makes it easy to communicate with your students in real time, all in one place. Please note that chat comments cannot be deleted.

Subscribe to Discussions
In addition to general Discussion subscription through Notifications, users can now subscribe to entire Discussion threads in their courses and be notified when new comments are posted to the topic.
