Cranberry’s Completely Renovated, Thayer Lounge and Dining Commons Refurbished
image of Cranberry's The Cranberry Café, now known as Cranberry’s, in the Bart Luedeke Center was completely renovated during the summer, and a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, September 7. Thayer Lounge and the Dining Commons in the William H. Scheide Student Center on the Westminster campus were also renovated.

James Hoey became the second former Rider University pitcher to reach the major leagues this season when the Baltimore Orioles called him up Wednesday. In Memoriam - Richard L. Deni
It is with regret that Rider University announces the passing on August 12 of Dr. Richard L. Deni, professor of psychology, who was a member of the psychology faculty for 28 years. The family requests that donations be made to the Urban Ecology Institute, LEAH Mentor Fund. LEAH stands for Leadership through Education Action and Hope, and is named in honor of Dr. Deni’s late daughter, Leah, who loved the earth and was dedicated to the work of the Institute. In Memoriam - Caryn Wilson
Rider also announces the passing of Caryn Wilson, a student in the College of Continuing Studies, on August 19, 2006. Caryn, 19, passed away after a three-year battle with cancer. Born in Princeton, she was a Lawrenceville resident all her life and enjoyed her studies at Rider University.
