Executive to Join CBA Leadership Team

John Farrell |
John Farrell, who has more than
30 years experience of consulting and leadership experience with
major firms throughout the United States and abroad, has joined
Rider University’s College of Business Administration as
Interim Assistant Dean of Graduate and Professional Programs and
the Director of the Center for the Development of Leadership Skills.
“We are very excited to have an accomplished executive like
John joining us and look for him to extend our programs both within
the University and out to the business community,” said
Dr. Larry Newman, dean of the College of Business
Administration in making the announcement. “The development
of leaders is central to our mission at Rider, and the importance
of the Center and related programs will continue to grow in the
future.
John’s management consulting and leadership experience has
been with Ernst & Young, Unisys Corporation and Cap Gemini
in New York, Milan, Brussels, Chicago, Athens (Greece) Washington,
D.C. and Philadelphia. He has served a range of clients including:
Xerox Corporation,: Associated Press; MCA Music; Whirlpool Corporation;
MetLife; Fidelity Funds; Eaton Corporation; and several major
governmental agencies.
Most recently, John has served as an adjunct assistant professor
teaching personal financial planning and international management
at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He also serves on the
board of directors of Reading Revolution, a California-based literacy
products and services company.
