This fall Rider University will present its first
Mazzotti Awards in Women's Leadership courtesy of the generosity
of Joan Mazzotti '72, former chair of the Rider
University Board of Trustees.
The Mazzotti Awards offer opportunities for women
faculty and staff members to attend leadership development programs
that will benefit the Rider community and assist recipients in
their professional development. Faculty and staff may apply for
programs that will develop personal, administrative or organizational
leadership skills as well as discipline-specific skills (teaching,
scholarly activity and value).
Award recipients are expected to share their experiences
with the Rider community. The awards' initiative responds to objectives
in the Rider University Strategic Plan to enhance training in
leadership skills for faculty and staff.
Application forms can be found on the Rider Web
site by clicking here.
Applications will be sent to Jan Friedman-Krupnick,
assistant vice president for student affairs. An information session
will take place Monday, September 18 from 4:30 p.m. in the Fireside
Lounge of the Bart Luedeke Center. Refreshments will be served.
The first application deadline is October 2. For
more information, contact Jan Friedman-Krupnick at jfk@rider.edu.
