Robert Lackie, associate professor-librarian,
has been selected the 2006 recipient of the Ken Haycock Award
for Promoting Librarianship. He will receive the award at the
American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in New Orleans
on June 27.
The award, given annually to honor an individual for contributing

his assistance a valuable thing indeed," said Chickering.
Over the years, Lackie has been invited to present papers at

Lackie’s publication list includes articles published in
scholarly and professional journals on subjects such as the invisible
web and teaching in the e-classroom; a variety of curricular resources;
and, several chapters in the book, “The Plagiarism Plague,”
which were singled out in several reviews for their style and
content.
