March 23 Performance
of "Smile" in Lawrenceville Cancelled
The March 23 performance of the musical "Smile",
which was to be presented in The Yvonne Theater on the Lawrenceville
campus, has been cancelled.
Westminster Conservatory Gallery Concert on March 23
The final Westminster Conservatory Gallery Concert
this season will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in the
Rider University Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the
Bart Luedeke Center on the Lawrenceville campus. The concert will
be performed by Serenata, a Westminster Conservatory faculty trio
composed of Katherine McClure, flute;
Melissa Bohl oboe; and James Day, guitar.
They will perform "Canyon Echoes" by Katherine Hoover
for flute and guitar; "Uirapurú" by Tom Eastwood
for oboe and guitar; the "Eclogues" of Mario Castelnuovo
Tedesco for flute, English horn and guitar; the Partita
for flute and oboe by Franco Màrgola; and two works for
solo guitar: Songs "My Mother Taught Me" by
Laurence Altman and "Westward Voyage" by James
Lentini. The recital is open to the public without charge.
Westminster Schola Cantorum Spring Concert is March 25
The spring concert by Westminster Schola Cantorum,
conducted by Sue Ellen Page, will be on Saturday,
March 25 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus.
It will include works by Gerald Finzi, Claudio Monteverdi, Undine
Moore and Moses Hogan. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for
students and seniors and can be purchased through the Westminster
box office at (609)921-2663. Students, faculty and staff receive
one free ticket with a valid Rider ID.
Westminster Conservatory Concert is March 25
Pianist Kyu-Jung Rhee from Westminster
Conservatory will perform in Gill Chapel on the Lawrenceville
campus on Saturday, March 25 at 8 p.m. The concert is free and

Westminster Chapel Choir
to Perform in Wilmington, DE, on March 25
Sun Min Lee will conduct the Westminster
Chapel Choir in a concert on Saturday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. at
the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 West 13th Street in
Wilmington, DE. The concert is entitled “Rejoice!”
and will feature works by Monteverdi, Elgar, Poulenc, Nystedt,
Mozart, Argento, Britten, Walton, Hogan and more. There are no
tickets for the concert; however, a free-will offering will be

Sharon Sweet to Perform in Recital on Sunday, March 26
Soprano Sharon Sweet accompanied
by pianist J.J. Penna will perform on Sunday,
March 26 at 3 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus.
The program will include works by Mozart, Schoenberg, Granados
and Cantaloube. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students

Westminster Williamson Voices Concert "In Memoriam, Warsaw 1945" on March 26 Cancelled
The Westminster Williamson Voices concert originally
scheduled on March 26 at 4 p.m. has been cancelled.
Westminster Williamson Voices to present "Voices of American Masters" on April 1
Westminster Williamson Voices, conducted by James
Jordan, will present a concert entitled “Voices
of American Masters” on Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m. in Bristol
Chapel on the Westminster campus. The repertoire will include
"Mid-Winter Songs" by Lauridsen, Menotti’s "The
Unicorn, The Gorgon and The Manticore" and premieres of works
by Steve Pilkington and Brian Schmidt.
The Menotti work will feature a dramatic black light performance
by Philadelphia’s award-winning Archedream Dance Company.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors and

Westminster Choir Spring Concert on April 1 has been Cancelled
The Westminster Choir spring concert scheduled for
Saturday, April 1 in Bristol Chapel at 8 p.m. has been cancelled.
Westminster Kantorei and Fuma Sacra Concert on April 7 and 8
Westminster Kantorei and Fuma Sacra will collaborate
under the direction of Andrew Megill to present
Claudio Monteverdi's "Vespro della Beata Virgine
(Vespers of 1610,)" on Friday, April 7 at 8 p.m. in Bristol
Chapel, on the Westminster campus, and on Saturday, April 8 at
8 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 213 W. 82nd
Street in New York City. The work is one of the greatest glories
of the Baroque choral repertory. Tickets for the Bristol Chapel
performance are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors
and can be purchased through the Westminster box office at (609)921-2663.

Westminster Kantorei and Fuma Sacra Concert on April 7 and 8
Westminster Chapel Choir, conducted by Sun
Min Lee, will present their spring concert on Saturday,
April 8 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus.

ranging from classics by Monteverdi, Handel, Elgar and Poulenc,
to contemporary compositions of Moses Hogan and John Tavener.
