A ribbon cutting ceremony before the start of a special production of "The Servant of Two Masters" officially "re-opened" the renovated studio theater in the Fine Arts Center and unveiled its new name, The Spitz, after John Spitznagel, Trustee and 1963 Rider journalism graduate, who was the project's lead donor.

Education Career Fair
Rider University education seniors, graduate students and alumni will be able to interview with a variety of prospective employers Thursday, March 2 during the University's annual Education Career Fair in the Bart Luedeke Center Cavalla Room. Representatives from approximately 50 school districts will be on hand to talk about full-time teaching, administrative and special services positions from 1 pm to 5 p.m. School district representatives will conduct brief 10 to 15 minute on-site interviews. Senator Menendez to Speak
The Rider University Institute for New Jersey Politics will sponsor a talk by U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-New Jersey) on "Standing up for New Jersey During a Time of War, Massive Federal Budget Deficits, and Partisan Polarization" in the Bart Luedeke Center Theater at noon on Thursday, February 23. His talk will be followed by student question-and-answer session.
Career Fair
Rider University undergraduate, graduate students and alumni will be able to network with a variety of prospective employers Thursday, March 30 during the Spring Career Fair in the Bart Luedeke Center Cavalla Room. More than 90 companies from a broad spectrum of fields will be represented from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students and alumni are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to provide to company representatives.
