Rider Fine Arts Department Presents The Servant of Two Masters
The Servant of Two Masters is being presented
by the Rider Fine Arts Department in The Fine Arts Studio Theater
on the Lawrenceville campus on Thursday, Friday and Saturday,
February 23, 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. and on Saturday, February 25
at 2 p.m. It will also be presented on Tuesday, February 21 at
8 p.m. in The Playhouse on the Westminster campus. The play is
written by Carlo Goldoni and is translated and adapted by Jeffrey
Hatcher and Paolo Emilio Landi. It is directed by Miriam Mills
and is a wildly funny, inventive and often hysterical play about
lust, greed and the law. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for
students and seniors for the performances in Lawrenceville. For

campus on February 21 is free.
Uppsala Academy Chamber
Choir from Sweden Will Perform February 22
The Uppsala Academy Chamber Choir, conducted by
Stefan Parkman, will present the rarely performed complete Rachmaninov
All Night Vigil, Op. 37 (commonly known as the Vespers) Wednesday,
February 2 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus.
This work stands as the crowning achievement of the Golden Age
of Russian Orthodox sacred choral music. The 45-voice ensemble
is in residence at Uppsala University, the oldest university in
Sweden. The choir has made a number of recordings, including a
collection of Swedish a cappella music from the 17th century on
the Chandos label. Admission is free and open to the public, but

Westminster Williamson Voices Concert on February 24 Cancelled
The Westminster Williamson Voices concert entitled "Music of Light" scheduled for Friday, February 24 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus has been cancelled.
Westminster Conservatory Voice Faculty to Present a Concert of Art Song, Opera Arias and Ensembles on February 25
On Saturday, February 25 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel
on the Westminster campus, the voice faculty of Westminster Conservatory
will present a concert of art song, opera arias and ensembles.
Conservatory voice faculty performers Jack Fergusson, Nancy Froysland
Hoerl, Aurora Micu, Denise Mihalik, Linda Mindlin, Danielle Sinclair
and Jean Marie Whaley will be joined by pianist Kathy Shanklin.
They will be assisted on the program by guest artist Jack Zamboni,
tenor. Repertoire will range from vocal chamber music to grand
opera, with selections by Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Rachmaninov,
Mozart, Leoncavallo, Mascagni, Strauss, Floyd, and Verdi. Tickets
are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors and can be
purchased through the Westminster Box Office at (609) 921-2663.
Students, faculty and staff receive one free ticket with a valid
Rider ID.
