Rider to Graduate More than 1,100 at its Two Commencements

Rider University will confer more than 1,100 undergraduate and graduate degrees and award two honorary degrees at its 141st Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 12 on the Lawrenceville campus. That same day, 109 undergraduate and graduate degrees and one honorary degree will be awarded on Rider's Westminster Choir College campus in Princeton at its 77th Commencement ceremony.

The Lawrenceville campus ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the procession on the Campus Green. The Westminster Choir College ceremony, distinguished by outstanding choral, organ and brass performances will begin with pre-ceremony music at 3:15 p.m. and the procession at 4 p.m.

In Memoriam
With deepest regret, Rider University announces the death of Walter L. Wahlen, who served the University as its chief development and public relations person for 36 years. Mr. Wahlen, 77, passed away on Sunday, May 6. A 1949 graduate of Rider, he served as vice president for development and college relations before his departure in 1985. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walter L. Wahlen Scholarship at Rider University.
