Karen
Gischlar '03, was accepted into a Ph.D. program in
school psychology at Lehigh University with full-tuition scholarship
and a yearly stipend of approximately $14,000. Gischlar is
a 2003 graduate of Rider's school psychology program. She
also has served as an adjunct instructor, teaching several
courses in Rider's Counseling and School Psychology graduate
programs. She has also collaborated with a number of faculty
on research projects.

Marianne
Kollar, associate director of admission, received
a Merit Award from the Mercer County Professional Counselors
Association (MCPCA) May 12 for her outstanding service to
the association. She has served as a member for 15 years.

Dr.
Jack Sullivan, professor of English and chair of
the American Studies department, gave a talk on the "German" Brahms Requiem
at the Spoleto Festival USA on June 8 prior to the performance
by the Westminster Choir and the Spoleto Festival Orchestra.
Dr. Sullivan was at the festival as part of his annual American
Studies Spoleto trip.
