Track Competes at Eastern Championships

Several members of the Rider outdoor track & field teams competed this past weekend at the Eastern Championships hosted by Yale University, the men in the ICAAAA and the women in the ECAC.
      The men's 4 x 100m relay of freshman David Payne, sophomore Jamaal Harris, junior Anthony Reid, senior Brandon Hicks and sophomore Jay Hill finished fourth in the finals with a time of 41.37.
      Freshman Dave Lado finished 14th in the 400m hurdles (54.07), Jamaal Harris finished 16th in the 100m (10.77), freshman Doug Beck finished 18th in the discus (46.23m) and Brandon Hicks finished 20th in the 110m hurdles (15.14).
      Freshman Jazmine Fenlator finished 14th in the shot put (13.66m) and 21st in the discus (39.61m) and junior Pam White finished 23rd in the 800m (217.85).
      The 4 x 800m relay of sophomore Ayotunde Owodunni, junior Robin Mesina, Lado, junior Gio Ramos and sophomore Pat O'Keefe finished 13th (7:41.45).
