Indoor Track & Field Season Ends at Eastern Championships

Several members of the Rider Indoor Track & Field team competed this weekend at the IC4A/ECAC Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston.
      The men's 4x800 relay of sophomore Ayotunde Owodunni, junior Robin Mesina, freshman Dave Lado and junior Giovanni Ramos set a new Rider record with a time of 7:38.29, finishing 10th.
      Senior Brandon Hicks finished 11th in the 55m hurdles (7.65) with sophomore Jamaal Harris finishing 13th in the 55m dash (6.58).
      The men's 4x400 relay of junior Joseph Hallowell, freshman David Payne, sophomore Patrick O'Keefe and junior Anthony Reid finished 21st with a time of 3:18.46. Sophomore Mechea Medine finished 22nd in the long jump (16' 11 3/4").
       The women's 4x400 relay of senior Jennifer Gramata, freshman Katie Chin, junior Pam White and sophomore Carla Wynter finished 26th with a time of 4:00.80.
