Rider Announces Promotion and Tenure

Twenty-two Rider faculty members have received promotions, effective September 1.

They are:

• From Associate Professor to Professor:  Anthony Kosar, music composition, history, and theory; Seiwoong Oh, English.
• From Assistant I to Associate Professor:  Sylvia Bulgar, undergraduate education.
• From Assistant Professor II to Associate Professor with tenure:  Bruce Burnham, chemistry; Matthew Boyd Goldie, English.
• From Assistant Professor II –Librarian to Associate Professor-Librarian with tenure: Robert Lackie, Moore Library.
• From Assistant Professor I to Assistant Professor II:  Kelly Bidle, biology; James Hayden, graduate education; Elizabeth Haywood-Sullivan, accounting; Brooke Hunter, history; Laura Hyatt, biology; Lynnel Joy Jenkins, music education; Cynthia Newman, marketing; Kelly Noonan, economics; Kathleen Pierce, graduate education; Drew Procaccino, computer information systems; Patrick Schmidt, music education; Reed Schwimmer, geological and marine sciences; Marc Wallace, political science; Todd Weber, biology.
