Enrollment VP Search Narrowed
to Three Candidates
The search committee for the new vice president for enrollment management
has narrowed the field of 38 candidates to three highly qualified individuals,
President Mordechai Rozanski reported at Thursday’s town hall meeting.
He said the three finalists will be coming to campus for interviews, including
public forums, on March 22, 23 and 24.
In addition to the president, who serves as chair, the search
committee consists of Ellen LaCorte, human resources; Charles
McCall, economics department; Ira Mayo, student affairs; Christina
Petruska, institutional planning; and Ron Walker, institutional
analysis.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the forums
so they can meet the candidates and provide feedback and advice as part
of the interview process.
The schedule for the public forums follows: Monday, March 22,
12:30-1:10 p.m., The Yvonne Theater; Tuesday, March 23, 12:20-1 p.m.,
The Yvonne Theater; and Wednesday, March 24, 12:30-1:10 p.m., Bart Luedeke
Center Theater.
Brief resumes of the candidates along with a position
description will be posted as a quick link on Rider's Web site
on Thursday, March 18.
The vice president for enrollment management will provide coordination
and leadership for recruitment, retention, financial aid and marketing
on both campuses. “I want to extend my appreciation to the search committee
members, said President Rozanski. “I am tremendously impressed with the
candidates we have. My hope is to have someone engaged by April and on
the campus this summer.”
