Darian and Wiman Win Marketing
Awards
Drs. Jean Darian and Alan Wiman, associate
professors of marketing at Rider University, won Bright Ideas for
Business Awards in Product Marketing at the Bright Ideas for Business
Award breakfast in November.
Darian and Wiman were cited for
their paper, “Perceived Salesperson Service Attributes and Retail
Patronage Intentions,” which investigates the impact of salespersons
service levels and types on customer patronage. The paper appeared
in the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management.
Sponsored by the NJPRO Foundation (the
public policy research arm of the New Jersey Business & Industry
Association), Seton Hall’s Skillman School of Business and New
Jersey Business Magazine, the event honors the outstanding achievements
of New Jersey colleges and universities in furthering excellence in
commerce and industry.
Honorable mention citations went to
Dr. Paul Belliveau, an adjunct faculty member, and Dr. Ronald
Cook, professor of management.
