CBA Presents Business Career Panel
Rider University’s College of Business Administration
will host a career panel to focus on “The Business of Science”
Wednesday, February 26 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Sweigart Auditorium.
Geared for business, science and liberal
arts students, the event is free and open to the public. Featured
as panelists will be: Alicia Edwardson, business analyst at Ortho-McNeil
Pharmacy; Robert Hannon, business manager at Princeton Nassau Pediatrics;
Lisa Kalinksy, professional service coordinator at Aetna, Inc.; Timothy
Talomie, finance resource manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb; and Nancy
Watson, training manager at Schering-Plough. The discussion will be
moderated by Dr. Hope Corman, professor of economics and event
coordinator.
“Science and high-tech industries
offer wonderful opportunities not only for scientists but for individuals
with strong business skills,” said Corman. “The panelists
will provide undergraduates and MBA students with insight on the variety
of business careers at science-related firms. The sky’s the
limit.”
