Dr. Mordechai Rozanski Named President of Rider University - Dr. Mordechai Rozanski, Rider University president-elect, called Rider an “outstanding institution positioned to take another step forward in its important progress” at a press conference yesterday (Feb. 25) in Rider’s Sweigart Hall Auditorium.

Westminster Opera Theatre To Present Bizet’s Carmen - Westminster Opera Theatre will perform a Bizet’s operatic masterpiece, Carmen, at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Performances will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 6, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. in The Playhouse on the Westminster campus in Princeton.       

Graduate SBI Team is a Finalist in National Competition - For the sixth consecutive year, a Rider Small Business Institute (SBI) student team has earned national kudos.

Rider Reaches Out to Young Adults with Disabilities - Rider University, in conjunction with the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District’s Department of Special Services, has established an advisory board to assist young adults with various cognitive delays obtain employment with successful outcomes.

Online Course Selection Now Offered to Freshmen, CCS Students - Once again this semester, Rider students will have an opportunity to course select online without having to visit the registrar’s office. New for Fall 2003 is the expansion of online services to College of Continuing Studies (CCS) students and second-semester freshmen who will be course selecting for their next semester.

 

 

MAAC Basketball Championship Information - The 2003 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Basketball Championships will be coming to the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, on March 6-10, 2003.

Rider Sophomore Serves United Nations Association - Rider University sophomore Hector Rosa of Newark is on a mission to change the world for the betterment of mankind. As an intern at the United Nations Association (UNA), a branch of the United Nations in New York City, he is already learning the fundamentals.
      Working at the UNA’s Development Department for the past eight months he has raised funds to help eliminate land mines in various countries and has helped organize diplomacy programs administered by the United Nations Association (UNA).
