New District Chef Joins Rider’s Dining Program

Rider University and ARAMARK are proud to announce culinary and management team enhancements to Rider’s Dining Program.
Andrew Bond joins ARAMARK as one of six prestigious District Chefs. His new responsibilities now include the culinary programs at nine Universities throughout New Jersey. As an executive chef, he will be lending his continued support, expertise and knowledge to Rider’s dining program.
Bond comes to Rider with an impressive history. A native of England, he graduated from Henley College, in Coventry England, where he trained in classical French cooking. Upon graduating, Bond went on to earn the title of Certified Executive Chef, at Westminster College, in London. He has enjoyed a 20-year career with international hotels, in England, Germany and The United States, where he worked in all aspects of the industry. In the United States, Bond further expanded his list of talents learning to prepare a large variety of cuisine from cities such as Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Miami and New Orleans.
Bond will be traveling around the state about three days a week, reserving the other days exclusively for Rider.

What’s New with Dining at Daly’s for the Spring Semester?

This semester, members of the campus community will be able to watch Howard -- your Baker -- prepare desserts, pastry and breads from the new bakery, right in the dining room. Throughout the week, individual casseroles such as baked lasagna, beef ravioli, macaroni and cheese and tortelini alfredo, will also be all baked just for you.
A Panini sandwich will be offered daily. Paninis are hot, grilled sandwiches prepared on ARAMARK’s new Panini grill. The menu will also feature a broader selection of carved meats, fresh vegetables and more entrees prepared to order, on a visible char broiler. Other new
selections include deluxe stromboli at the Mediterranean station and chicken marsala and chicken teriyaki kebobs at the World station.
“This semester, even more than last, a visit to Daly’s will be known as a place where your meal is prepared in an appetizing and individualized way, right before your eyes,” said Tim Richards, general manager of ARAMARK Dining Services.
