Rider's Porter All-District 3; Name on All-America Ballot

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the NABC/Pontiac Division I All-District teams, and Rider senior forward Mario Porter was named to the second team All-District 3.
     The 150 All-District players (15 districts, first and second team in each) are now eligible for the NABC/Pontiac Division I All-America Team.
     The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference preseason Player of the Year, Porter currently leads the MAAC in both scoring and rebounding. He has been named the MAAC Player of the Week three times, the Rider Athlete of the Month twice, and the NJ Hoops Player of the Month.
      Porter has led Rider to first place (10-3) in the MAAC and to seven consecutive victories, the 10th longest streak currently in Division I.
