Noonan Receives Innovative Teaching Award – The College of Business Administration's Business Advisory Board has presented Dr. Kelly Noonan, assistant professor of economics, with the 2002 Innovative Teaching Award. For the story, click here.

Rider to Host International Week – The campus community will celebrate its cultural diversity April 1 – 5 during Rider's 11th annual International Week. Festive celebrations, lectures and discussion panels are among the week's highlights. The theme is "Global Ethic and Social Responsibility." For the story, go to International Week.

NJEOP to Honor Students, Faculty for Achievements – Nine Rider seniors and two faculty members will be recognized by the New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association during its 32nd annual conference in Somerset, NJ. Lunch Box Lectures Provides Food for Thought – The Lunch Box Lecture Series offers a menu of topics designed to stimulate "food for thought" for the campus community and the community-at-large. The lectures are sponsored by Rider's College of Continuing Studies. To read about the series' offerings this spring semester, click Lunch Box.

Noted Singer-Songwriter to Perform at Rider -- Magdalen Hsu-Li, one of the first Chinese-American singer-songwriter/artists to emerge in the United States in the acoustic/pop/alternative genre, will present her lecture/performance, "Kaleidoscope – Rhythm & Diversity," April 8 at 7 p.m. in the Student Center Theater. Education Career Fair Information –  The annual Education Career Fair, sponsored by the Office of Career Services and the School of Education, will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2002 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Student Center Cavalla Room.  This year over 40 school districts will be in attendance to interview students and alumni for teaching opportunities in a variety of disciplines.  To preview a list of attendees, please visit the career services website at www.rider.edu/careerservices.

- Senior All-American Deanna Dovak hit her 51st career home run Sunday, March 31 in a doubleheader with University of Pennsylvania.  For the story, click here.
Pesaresi MAAC Baseball Player of Week - Junior Erinn Pesaresi was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for all games played prior to March 25.
