Rider Honors Six Distinguished Alumni - Rider University will honor six outstanding alumni Sunday, June 3 at an Alumni Awards luncheon. To find out about these extraordinary individuals, click on alumni. Lazarus Accepted into Emory's Clinical Psychology Program – Annually, only six to eight students out of an applicant pool of about 350 are accepted into Emory University's Ph.D. program in clinical psychology. Amber Lazarus, who graduated summa cum laude with a BA degree in psychology May 11, will enroll in the program this fall. For her story and experiences in the psychology program, click here. Rider Student Wins East Coast Entrepreneur Award – Tino Proccacini is a senior business administration major. He and his brother, John, and friend, Rob Kaiser, both Rider alumni, own and operate the La Principessa restaurant in Princeton. On May 9, Tino won not only the New Jersey title as 2001 New Jersey Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year, but also the East Coast Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
