Special Offers on Westminster Tickets Available to Rider Faculty, Staff and Students
The Westminster Symphonic Choir at Lincoln Center 2006

Rider faculty, staff and students have the inside track on purchasing tickets for popular Westminster performances over the next several weeks.

On Sunday, October 28, Rider students, faculty and staff will be able to purchase tickets for the Holidays at Westminster series of performances before they go on sale to the general public. This special pre-sale will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Williamson Hall on the Westminster campus. Members of the Rider community will be able to purchase up to six tickets for most Holidays at Westminster performances with a valid Rider ID. All of the performances in the series will be offered, but purchases of tickets for the Evening of Readings and Carols performances will be limited to one of two nights. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 5. Details about Holidays at Westminster performances are on the Web site at http://www.rider.edu/888_1375.htm.

Additionally, discounted tickets are available for upcoming performances by Westminster’s choirs in Trenton, Newark and New York. The Westminster Symphonic Choir will perform Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1 at Patriots Theater in the Trenton War Memorial. Both performances begin at 8 p.m., and discounted tickets range from $30.40 to $64. They may be ordered from the Westminster Box Office weekdays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Deadline for orders is Thursday, November 1.

The Westminster Choir and Westminster Kantorei with the New York Philharmonic will perform Bach’s St. Matthew Passion at Lincoln Center on Saturday, March 22, at 8 p.m. Discounted tickets range from $28 to $65. The piece tells the Christian story of the crucifixion of Christ. Tickets for a bus to New York are also being offered for $25, provided there are enough reservations to cover the cost of the bus. The bus will leave Princeton at 4 p.m., allowing passengers enough time for dinner prior to the performance. The bus will return to Princeton immediately following the performance. If there are not sufficient reservations, the bus payment will be refunded. Deadline for orders is Friday, December 14.
