Cheer on the Broncs from your "Home Court"
You now have more chances than ever to catch live Broncs action
from your home court!
Rider basketball makes several scheduled television appearances
this season, and alumni are getting in the game. DC Metro-area
alumni already have their seats reserved at a local sports
tavern, and you too can join or even organize a cheering section
from your home town.
The Broncs’ television appearances begin with at least
three games from the ESPN Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Florida
during Thanksgiving weekend. The games will be broadcast on
one of the ESPN family of channels, beginning with the game
on Thursday, November 22 at 2 p.m. vs. North Carolina State.
Fans can catch the Broncs on the Madison Square Garden (MSG)
network on Monday, January 21, as MAAC rival Iona comes to
the Broncs’ Zoo at 7 p.m.
The men return to ESPN2 on Saturday, February 2, as they
take on the Siena Saints at Times Union Center in Albany,
N.Y. at 2 p.m.
Men’s and women’s basketball make a double-header
appearance on ESPNU on Friday, February 29. The women take
on Siena at 4:30 p.m., followed by the men vs. cross-state
rival Saint Peter’s at 7 p.m.
The early rounds of the MAAC championship basketball tournament
are aired on MSG and the men’s championship game will
appear on ESPN2, Monday, March 10. Check your local listings.
Some of the other MAAC championship tournaments will also
be televised. Check out www.maacsports.com
or www.gobroncs.com
for more information and updated schedules.
