Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace Shares Views on Iraq War, Presidential Campaign and the Media
As part of Rider’s commemoration of Constitution Day, veteran broadcast journalist Chris Wallace addressed the troop surge of the Iraq War, the upcoming presidential election, the bias in today’s media coverage of politics and his own controversial encounter with former President Bill Clinton on September 25. Nearly 200 students, faculty, staff and guests filled the Bart Luedeke Center Theater to hear Wallace’s keynote address, “A View from Washington,” which was followed by a question and answer period, and the signing of his book, Character: Profiles in Presidential Courage. The event was sponsored by the Rider University Lecture Series. Wallace is host of Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace (FNS), Fox Broadcasting Company’s Sunday morning public affairs program.
