NSF Continues to Support Drawbridge's Research

image of Dr. Drawbridge and students The National Science Foundation (NSF) Research at Undergraduate Institutions (RUI) program has awarded its third grant since 2000 to Dr. Julie Drawbridge, department chair and professor of biology at Rider University, to support her continuing research of embryonic cell migration during kidney duct formation.

Trustees Approve of Strategic Direction to Create a New, Integrated College of Music, Fine and Performing Arts
The Board of Trustees, at its meeting on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, unanimously approved the University going forward with its strategic direction to create a new, integrated college of music, fine and performing arts that will bring together its world class Westminster Choir College and its distinguished Fine Arts program on Rider's two campuses. Discussions and planning involving the New College Study Group, the Westminster Choir College Task Force and the deans of WCC and the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences, the Provost, and other governance groups will now focus on the work that remains. Updates on this initiative will be shared with the University community.
