Rider Art Gallery Exhibit Cityscapes
by John Dubrow and Mari Lyons through December 7
The Rider University Art Gallery is presenting an exhibit entitled
“Home-Street-City: Cityscapes by John Dubrow and Mari
Lyons” through Thursday, December 7. The exhibit examines
the urban experience through paintings by two New York artists.
The Art Gallery is located in the Bart Luedeke Center on the
Lawrenceville campus and admission is free. For information

Rider Fine Arts Department to Present the Musical “Urinetown”
November 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18
Urinetown is being presented by the Rider Fine Arts
Department in November in The Yvonne Theater in the Fine Arts
Building on the Lawrenceville campus. This hilarious runaway
musical comedy hit moved from New York’s Fringe Festival
to Broadway and is a must-see for theater-goers of all ages!
There is a preview on Thursday, November 9 at 7 p.m., a brush-up
performance on Thursday, November 16 at 7 p.m., and Friday,
November 10, Saturday, November 11, Friday, November 17 and
Saturday, November 18 the show will run at 8 p.m. Tickets are
$4 for the preview and brush-up performances (general admission)
and are available only at the door. Tickets for the regular
performances are $10 for adults and $5 for students/seniors.

Westminster Conservatory Wind Recital on November 10
There will be a wind recital featuring members of Westminster
Conservatory’s wind department on Friday, November 10
at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus. Tickets
are $10 for adults and $5 for students/seniors and are available
by calling the Westminster box office at 609-921-2663. Students,
faculty and staff receive one free ticket with a valid Rider
ID.
Westminster Choir Concert on November 11
For his inaugural performance with the Westminster Choir, Joe
Miller will conduct one of the choral repertory’s masterworks,
Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, as well as works by
Bach, Tormis, Poulenc, Mantyjärvi and Kverno, on Saturday,
November 11 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors and
are available by calling the Westminster box office at 609-921-2663.
Students, faculty and staff receive one free ticket with a valid

Westminster Conservatory at Nassau Concert on November
16
Nancy Froysland-Hoerl, soprano, and James
Day, guitar, will be featured in a recital on Thursday, November
16 at 12:15 p.m. in Niles Chapel at the Nassau Presbyterian
Church, located at 61 Nassau Street in Princeton. Westminster
Conservatory at Nassau is a monthly series that is open to the
public without charge. The recital is 30-40 minutes in length.
Westminster Winds -- Faculty Woodwind Quintet to Perform
November 16
Westminster Conservatory faculty will perform the music of
Danzi, Ligeti, Hindemith and Schuller on Thursday, November
16 at 7 p.m. at the Bart Luedeke Center on Rider’s Lawrenceville
Campus. The event is a Rider Art Gallery Chamber Music Concert.
