| Among the special highlights of Rider University's 2006
Family Day activities was the crowning of the Cranberry King
and Queen. The two seniors were selected based upon their
embodiment of campus pride, spirit and commitment to community
service.
Named Cranberry Queen was (center, left):Alexandra
Khashkes, a journalism major. Named Cranberry King
was Michael Caputo (center, right): an
English major. First runner-up for Queen was Daphkar
Lahens (fourth from left), a psychology major,
and for King, Nick Barbati (fourth from
right), a political science major.
Members of the King and Queen's Court were (from far left
to right): Lindsey Thomas, an elementary
education/psychology major; Shelly Helfgott,
an elementary education/communication major; Nicole
Southern, an elementary education/psychology major.
(From far right to left): Michael Grimm,
a communication major; Anthony Coruccini,
an accounting/finance major and Karson Langenfelder,
