Joan Mazzotti |
This fall Rider University will present its first
Mazzotti Awards in Women's Leadership courtesy of the generosity
of Joan Mazzotti '72, former chair of the Rider
University Board of Trustees, and her husband, Michael Kelly.
The Mazzotti Awards offer opportunities for women faculty and
staff members to attend leadership development programs that will
benefit the Rider community and assist recipients in their professional
development. Faculty and staff may apply for programs that will
develop personal, administrative, or organizational leadership
skills as well as discipline-specific skills.
A reception and information session for the awards program will
be held on Monday, September 18, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Fireside
Lounge of the Bart Luedeke Center. Refreshments will be served.
Please RSVP by e-mail to Maureen Kyle at
mkyle@rider.edu by Thursday, September 14, 2006.
Award recipients are expected to share their experiences with
the Rider community. The awards' initiative responds to objectives
in the Rider University Strategic Plan to enhance training in
leadership skills for faculty and staff.
