Westminster Conservatory at Nassau with a Performance by Sonora Winds Thursday, January 19

The free noontime series Westminster Conservatory at Nassau will resume at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, January 19, in the Niles Chapel of Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street in Princeton. Performers on January 19 will be the members of Sonora Winds, Kevin Willois, flute; Kenneth Ellison, clarinet; and Ivy Haga, bassoon, all faculty members of Westminster Conservatory. The program includes the Trio II, op. 61, of François Devienne, a French composer of the early 19th-century, and the Divertimento by Gerhard Maasz, a 20th-century German composer.

"Mozart and the Voice" - Westminster Choir and Westminster Williamson Voices and New Jersey Symphony January 20-22

The Westminster Choir and Westminster Williamson Voices will be performing works by Mozart (Requiem, Excerpts from The Magic Flute and Masonic Funeral Music) with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Performances will take place on Friday, January 20 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 22 at 3 p.m. An additional performance will take place at the Patriots Theater at the Trenton War Memorial in Trenton on Saturday, January 21 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-ALLEGRO. The external affairs office has a limited number of tickets available at group rates for specific performances. On Sat. Jan. 21 in Trenton the ticket prices are: student tickets in the balcony (you MUST be a student) $10; balcony $28; and side orchestra $49.60. For the Sunday, Jan. 22 performance at NJPAC, the ticket prices are: student tickets in Tier 3 - $10; Tier 2 at $40; and side orchestra $49.60. Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital: Ivories and Silver Sunday, January 22

Westminster Conservative Faculty present Ivories and Silver: music for piano four hands and flute. The performance will be held on Sunday, January 22 at 3:00 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus. Kathy McClure, flute; Esma Pasic-Filipovic, piano; and Larissa Korkina, piano, will perform. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 seniors/students. Rider faculty, staff and students receive one free ticket with Rider University ID. They can be purchased at the Westminster box office weekdays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. after January 3 or by calling (609) 921-2663.

Westminster Symphonic Choir, New York Philharmonic: Mozart January 26-28

The Westminster Symphonic Choir will perform Mozart's Mass in C, K. 317, "Coronation" with the New York Philharmonic in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City. Performances will start at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, and 8 p.m. on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28. Tickets can be purchased by calling 212-875-5656.
