Living, Learning at Rider

The Undergraduate Studies Learning Community -- for undeclared majors -- in Kroner Hall -- is one of six learning communities and two theme-oriented communities on Rider’s Lawrenceville campus. The others are: the Freshman Year-Experience in Conover Hall; the Baccalaureate Honors Program (BHP) in Ziegler Hall; a Science Learning Community in Switlik Hall; a College of Business Administration Learning Community in Gee Hall; the Student Support Services Program for first generation college students in Hill Hall; a Wellness community in Olson Hall and the all-female residence in Wright Hall.

Rider faculty and administrators chat over lunch with Rider Undergraduate Studies Learning Community (USLC) student Nick Kurowski, and former USLC students Amanda Rutkowski '08, and Colleen Kelly '08.

The Rider Holiday Spirit

As part of "Giving Trees" -- an annual project of Rider University's Catholic Campus Ministry, Association of Commuting Students and Westminster Conservatory -- members of the Rider community donated a little over 500 toys to children and infants at MillHill Family and Child Development Center in Trenton. Several gathered December 9 to sort and wrap gifts at Rider's Gill Chapel. Lending a helping hand to wrap gifts were Rider President Mordechai Rozanski (standing, center) and Rider community members (standing), Drs. John Hulsman and Dorothy McMullen, and students Joe Lucchio and Carey Sliko. Seated: students Tiffany Egan and Fabienne Banczak.
