  • Hector Rosa, a senior political science/global multinational studies major, attended a major summit on global security issues on November 5 at American University in Washington, DC. Rosa was selected to attend by the president of Americans for Informed Democracy (AID). The goal of the young global leaders summit, called "Think Outside Bomb," was to inspire young leaders to view the pursuit of non-proliferation and disarmament as a special mission of their generation. The conference was cosponsored by AID, the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation (NAPF) and the Nuclear Studies Institute at American University.
