Thirty-nine Rider University employees were recognized as distinguished employees at a November 9th luncheon in the Fireside Lounge. The event honored those employees who received a "distinguished" rating on their last performance appraisal. The honorees received a letter from President Mordechai Rozanski and were given a $100 American Express gift certificate.

"It is wonderful to be able to recognize the 39 employees who had an
overall "Distinguished" rating on this past year's performance
appraisal," said Ellen LaCorte, director of human resources and affirmative action, "During this third annual Distinguished Employee Luncheon, honored employees were joined by their supervisors, division heads and President Rozanski to receive well deserved kudos for their accomplishments."

In addition to thanking everyone for all they do for the institution and its students, President Rozanski noted there has been a 30 percent increase in the number of employees receiving exemplary recognition, and a 100 percent increase since 2003. "It means that there has been extensive participation in the many renewal activities we have going on and the opportunity for people to make very significant contributions," he said. "It is remarkable with the superb efforts people have made how much we have able to accomplish working together."
