Westminster Conservatory Faculty Perform

The Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital Series will present a performance entitled "Clarinet and Friends" on Sunday, January 9 at 4 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Princeton campus. The recital will feature Conservatory faculty members performing Two Nursery Rhymes by Bliss; Introduction and Variations by Kalliwoda; Suite for Clarinet and Piano by Barab; and Grand Duo Concertante by Von Weber. Performing will be Kenneth Ellison, clarinet; Esma Pasic-Filipovic and Bing Bing Chang, piano; and Linda Mindlin, mezzo-soprano.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Rider faculty, staff and students receive one free ticket with a valid ID. They can be picked up at the Westminster box office weekdays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. or reserved by calling 609-921-2663.

Conservatory Faculty Present "Dialogo Angelico"

A Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital entitled "Dialogo Angelico" will take place Saturday, January 15 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Princeton campus. Conservatory faculty members Seth Rosenthal and Barbara Williams, flutes, and Donald Dolan, piano, will perform works for two flutes and piano.

Westminster Faculty Members in Concert

Margaret Cusack, soprano, and J.J. Penna, piano, will present a recital on Sunday, January 16 at 4 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Princeton campus. The program will include Cinq Poèms de Baudelaire by Debussy and Hugo Wolf’s Mignon Lieder.

Jubilee Singers Present Living the Dream Concert

The Westminster Jubilee Singers, conducted by J. Donald Dumpson, will present its second annual concert honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, January 22 at 8 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Westminster campus in Princeton. Joining the ensemble will be the Hampton University Concert Choir, conducted by Royzell Dillard.

The program will include works by Nathan Carter, Roland Carter, R.L. Dillard, Eugene Hancock, Moses Hogan, Undine Moore, Frank Williams and many more.

Westminster Faculty Perform

The Westminster Faculty Recital Series continues with a performance by Nancy Froysland Hoerl, soprano, and J.J. Penna, piano, on Sunday, January 23 at 4 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the Princeton campus. They will be performing music by Erich Korngold, Reynaldo Hahn, Gustav Mahler and Enrique Granados. Symphonic Choir Performs with the New York Philharmonic

The Westminster Symphonic Choir will perform Ravel's Daphnis et Chloë with the New York Philharmonic on Wednesday, January 26 at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, January 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 29 at 8 p.m. at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York. The conductor is Lorin Maazel. There is also a performance on Friday, January 28 at 8 p.m. at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

Westminster Faculty Recital Cancelled

The recital by Laura Brooks Rice, mezzo-soprano, and J.J. Penna, piano, on Sunday, January 30 has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
