"Holidays at Westminster" will usher in the holiday season at Westminster Choir College. Performances will range from opera and early music to traditional choral concerts and jazz performances. General to Speak at Rider
Dr. Thoraya Ahmed Obaid, U.N. Under-Secretary General and executive
director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), will focus
upon the International Conference on Population and Development
(ICPD) in her talk, "ICPD is What I Am About," at Rider University
Thursday, November 4 from noon to 1 p.m. in Sweigart Auditorium.

Public Defender to Receive Rider's Law and Justice Award
David Feige, a public defender, legal commentator and writer,
will be presented Rider University's ninth annual Law and Justice
Distinguished Achievement Award on Thursday, October 28 at 11:30
a.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Bart Luedeke Center (BLC).

NY City Art Critic to Introduce Work of Wilbur
Niewald at Rider
Noted Kansas City painter Wilbur Niewald will share his artistic
vision with Lance Esplund, chief art critic for The New York
Sun, and the public-at-large, to open his show, "Wilbur
Niewald: A Retrospective, 1951 -2004," November 4 at The Rider

A&E Documentary
The A&E Channel will premiere a two-hour documentary, "All the
Presidents' Wives," at 10 p.m., Friday, October 29. Dr. Myra
Gutin, professor of communication, will be among several
interviewees including family members, journalists, politicians,
prominent historians and scholars who will explore the trials
and triumphs of these incredible women and the position of America's
First Lady. Dr. Gutin has been quoted extensively in the national
media during the presidential campaign. |

Rider University undergraduate, graduate students and alumni
will be able to market themselves to a variety of prospective
employers on Thursday, November 4 during Fall Career Day in
the Bart Luedeke Center Cavalla Room. More than 90 companies
from a broad spectrum of fields will be represented from 11
