  • Buddy System Means Smooth Move-Ins for Rider Freshmen
    A supply of candy bars provided welcome relief to a group of cranberry T-shirt-clad Rider students, who were among the 390 Bronc Buddies who weathered the strong morning sun to help incoming freshmen move into their residence halls.

    With the philanthropic support of more than 6,500 alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff, the Rider University Annual Fund surpassed all prior records for unrestricted dollars raised, collecting $1,584,733 for the 2008 fiscal year ending June 30.

    Since 1979, the Rider community has celebrated its history with Cranberry Fest, featuring an outdoor luncheon, activities and free giveaways on the Campus Mall. This year’s event, held on September 4, mirrored the sights, sounds and aromas of a county fair.  


  • Counseling Services Program Obtains Full Accreditation
    Rider University’s Community Counseling and School Counseling concentrations in the Counseling Services Master’s Degree program recently attained full accreditation through October 31, 2014.

    Rider University will host a photography retrospective highlighting a half-century of work from internationally acclaimed photographer Jon Naar beginning September 18.


  • TIAA-CREF Open Enrollment Meeting
    Eligible Rider University employees will be receiving an invitation to attend the semi-annual TIAA-CREF Open Enrollment Meeting scheduled for Friday, September 19, at 10 a.m. in Sweigart Auditorium.
