On Saturday, April 5, a record number of 2,000 youngsters, college students and community members came out to Rider’s 12th annual Minding Our Business (M.O.B.) Market Fair. More



Rider University’s Model United Nations Team received an Outstanding Delegation award at the conclusion of the National Model United Nations Conference, held from March 18 to 21 inside the U.N. headquarters in New York City. More

  • Rider Announces Commencement Speakers
    for 143rd Commencement

    During its 143rd Commencement ceremonies on the Lawrenceville campus, Rider University will proudly bestow an honorary Doctor of Laws degree upon Deborah T. Poritz, the first female Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court, and an honorary Doctor of Science degree upon Christy Stephenson, a 1987 Rider graduate and former president and chief executive officer of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, N.J.


  • Luncheon Makes Scholarships Personal
    "It is nice to put a name to a face" is a sentiment often voiced when finally meeting someone you had only known from a distance. On Thursday, April 3, the Office of Development coordinated an effort to connect both a name and a face to a realized dream as benefactors and recipients of Rider scholarships gathered in the Cavalla Room to look each other in the eye and say "thank you" during the third annual scholarship/stewardship luncheon.


  • Rider to Break Ground on New West Village Residence Halls
    A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the new West Village residence halls of Rider University on Tuesday, April 15, at 12:30 p.m. on the Lawrenceville campus.

  • Witkin Sculptures Will Help Mold Campus Splendor
    Rider University will host a dedication ceremony for the Isaac Witkin Sculpture Park, featuring monumental outdoor sculptures from the late artist's collection installed on the University's Lawrenceville and Princeton campuses, on Monday, April 21, at 11:30 a.m. on the Lawrenceville campus.


  • Pathways to Business Success
    Nine students from Rider University's College of Business Administration now have the chance to discover the traditional and non-traditional routes into the fields of accounting, economics and finance in the new Pathways mentoring program.


  • SAFE RIDES Drive Alcohol Awareness Month
    Rider University students will be able to get a “safe ride” back to the Lawrenceville campus for free through the new SAFE RIDES Program thanks to a new venture sponsored by Rider Initiative for Substance-abuse Education (RISE) and Student Government Association.
