The entire University community is invited to celebrate Cranberry Fest on Thursday, September 13. The celebration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony of the renovated Daly Dining Hall. On the Campus Mall, enjoy delicious cranberry cuisine, music and games with friends and colleagues. Then at 12:15 p.m., check out the dedication of Hank and Bonnie Moore Hall, formerly the New Residence Hall, located between Ziegler and Hill Halls. A Rider tradition since 1979, Cranberry Fest, celebrates Andrew J. Rider, the first president of the Trenton Business College, who introduced the cranberry to the queen of England. Being one of the larger growers of the berry earned Rider the distinction of being known as the "Cranberry King of New Jersey."
