A knowing sun seemed to smile on the futures of 1,347 new graduates of Rider University and Westminster Choir College over three days of Commencement ceremonies on May 10, 11 and 12.
Shortly before graduating on May 11, Jessica Nagle ’12 was accepted into the highly competitive Fulbright U.S. Student Program to teach English to German-speaking students in Austria. She is Rider’s sixth student Fulbright recipient in the last seven years.
Jessica Burgh ’12 will become the first child of a Rider graduate who also happens to be a faculty member to earn a degree from the institution when she graduates on Thursday, May 10, at the Graduate and College of Continuing Studies Commencement ceremony. Her father, Dr. Richard Burgh ‘68, is a professor of Philosophy.
