From the ADOBEWIN directory, select the DISK1 directory. From the DISK1 directory, select SETUP.EXE. Click OK. The RUN dialog box reappears, click OK. The license agreement appears. If you accept it, click ACCEPT. The Acrobat Exchange LE 2.0 Installer dialog box appears. Click both boxes (Acrobat Exchange LE 2.0 and Adobe Type Manager 3.01), then click INSTALL. Accept the default target directory of the Acrobat Exchange LE program. Click INSTALL. A message appears requesting registration. Click OK. A dialog box appears that prompts for your name. Enter it and click OK. The Exchange LE 2.0 installer copies the program files to your hard disk. The Adobe Type Manager (ATM) Installer dialog box appears. If you already have a copy of ATM on your system, you will see a warning that you are about to install ATM over an existing copy. Click OK. A second installer box appears. Accept the default directories and click INSTALL. When the Installer finishes, it displays a message telling you to restart Windows. Click to restart Windows. In Windows PROGRAM MANAGER, select the Adobe Acrobat 2.0 program group. In this group, click once on the EXCHANGE LE icon. Pull down the FILE menu from Program Manager, and select PROPERTIES. In the Properties panel, change the DESCRIPTION line to: Global Trade Outlook CD-ROM. Click OK. You now should have the Acrobat icon with "Global Trade Outlook CD-ROM" as the label. Double click on the icon to start the application. When the application opens, add the Global Trade Outlook Index by clicking on the icon that looks like binoculars in front of a sheet of paper. This will open the ACROBAT SEARCH panel. Click on the INDEXES box. This will open the INDEX SELECTION panel. Click on the ADD box. The ADD INDEX box is displayed. In the Add Index box, expand the DRIVES selection by its down arrow box. Click on your CD-ROM drive letter. The directories on the CD-ROM are displayed. Double click on directory PDF, then on subdirectory GTO_IDX. In the FILENAME box, double click on the GTO.PDX file. This will bring you back to the Index Selection panel, where you will now have two indexes available. Click OK. The ACROBAT SEARCH panel is displayed and you can either close it or initiate a search. You can begin using the disc by either searching on a term and retrieving documents that contain the term or by reviewing the list of documents and retrieving those of interest.
