Stacy Fischler Parrado received an M.B.A (2005) with focuses in accounting and finance and a B.S. in business administration (2002) from Rider University. She currently holds the position of Assistant Dean for Administration for the College of Business Administration at Rider University. Her areas of expertise include both accounting and finance. In addition to her administrative role at Rider, she also teaches Introduction to Business, Quantitative Methods for Business and Emerging Nations Study Tour at the undergraduate level.
Prior to joining Rider University, she began her career working as an accountant for the local public accounting firm, Mercadien, P.C. CPA’s. She took her first position at Rider University in 2004 as an Investment Accountant for the Finance Division where she spent a little over two years before moving on to her current position.
Stacy was just recently awarded the 2009-2010 Mazzotti Award in Women's Leadership. She will be attending the HERS Institute at Wellesley College: Advancing Women Leaders in Higher Education Administration sponsored by Higher Education Resource Services. The Mazzotti Awards Committee acknowledged her contributions to the University and the potential for this program to benefit both her future career goals and the Rider community. Stacy is very appreciative for this opportunity for professional and personal development.
