Rose McCathran, a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music, is a faculty member of the Certificate of Piano Pedagogy Program at Westminster Choir College. She is also the Coordinator of Piano Studies at Hunterdon Academy of the Arts. In addition, she is on the artist piano faculty at Westminster Conservatory of Music and holds a private piano studio in Princeton, New Jersey.

Rose holds a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, where she studied with Ingrid Clarfield. Since her graduation in 2009, Rose has served as Recording Secretary for the New Jersey Music Teachers Association. Every summer, Rose teaches at the Westminster Choir College “Middle School Piano Camp” directed by Lillian Livingston, and “High School Piano Camp” directed by Ingrid Clarfield.

Rose stays active as a pianist, chorister and recreational piano literature/musicology researcher. She is married to composer and pianist, Ryan Brechmacher. Rose and her husband have spent the past two summers concert touring in Europe.
